“I founded Payments+Partnerships to help clients navigate the complex payments ecosystem, capture the value from fast-moving technology, meet elevated customer expectations and contribute material value to their businesses.”
Bringing over 20 years of product development, data-driven marketing, relationship and P&L management, Dina founded Payments+Partnerships in 2018, as a consultancy practice with the purpose of enabling partnership opportunities in the payments ecosystem. Dina established a team of consultants, each with deep functional experience, who support Payments+Partnerships’ client engagements.
Previously the CMO, at Alterna Savings – Dina led product, marketing and communications for the enterprise as well as the re-branding of Alterna Bank. She also co-led the development of a national coalition credit card program with over 180 credit unions, negotiating a significant contractual agreement, with material economic benefit to participants.
As Vice President and General Manager at both Citi and JPMorgan Chase, Dina led credit card co-brand and private label partnerships with partners like Staples, Amazon, Marriott, Sears and Best Buy – and was accountable for the cross-functional support and profitability of her programs in addition to new business development. Creditor insurance, marketing analytics, data and pricing governance for the Canadian business were also under Dina’s direct management.
After a career start in advertising agencies, Dina moved to the financial services sector. She developed her deep business acumen at CIBC, as Director of Retail and Small Business Lending – relaunching the home equity lending business while leading business strategy and planning.
Optimistic, high-energy and relationship-focused, Dina provides invaluable support to her clients who need to solve problems or identify growth opportunities. She is passionate about moving the needle, making an impact and generating results and easily toggles from strategy to implementation.
Dina frequently speaks at industry events on the topics of payments, lending, open banking and leadership and acts as a global mentor for Women in Payments.
Additionally, she is a committed advocate for autism and neurodiversity in the workplace.
